BUF(PC)E

BUF(PC)E is an expansion bus adapter for extending an expansion slot by connecting of CONTEC ISA bus unit [FA-PAC (PC) series] with the main part of a personal computer by the appending cable. When using these goods, an optional ISA bus unit [FA-PAC(PC) series] is required.

Features

• The expansion slot in FA-PAC can be used like a main part slot by inserting BUF(PC)E in the expansion slot of IBM PC/AT and a compatible machine, and the expansion slot of FA-PAC series.

• By setting up the switch on BUS-PC(PC)E, the following contents are possible. a) Specification of a window domain and a setup of gate OPEN/CLOSE of the data bus at the time of accessing a memory can be performed to the memory board in FA-PAC. b) IRQ 3-7, 9-12, 14, and the interruption signal of 15 can be made into permission/disapproval. c) The memory weight of zero to 7 weight and I/O weight can be inserted.
